"Take Me To The Water"
Created as part of my undergraduate dissertation, 'Take Me To The Water' is an art film which looks to explore black masculinity and the exploration of self. Inspired by the work of Marlon Riggs, Carrie Mae Weems and countless others, the film focuses on three sections of life, childhood, adolescence and adulthood; with each section looking to find out who and what formed the man that I am today.
